Time out from Finals- Sushi Sho

I just finished 1/2 8 page essays so I went for a break. Had a wonderful time with (in no order of amusement) Erika, John and Zuo Hao.

We went to Sushi Sho (this place along solano ave)for sushi (duh) and thats all they serve there. It came up to $25 per person. Not cheap but the quality was really good and for some weird reason although portions were small, I was amazingly full. I guess, don't judge a sushi by its size?

I had the hamachi nigiri, chawan mushi and the unakyu maki. All were good though I would say the unakyu maki was pretty ordinary. The hamachi maki was really fresh, a lot better than what I had in Joshuya's. Zuohao had the pressed sushi, which is done Osaka style. Its really good..looks like jelly but it tastes nothing like it. Zuohao was addicted to it..i swear....for all his "nono its ok you guys can have it" statements. haha.

The main perk though was sitting at the sushi counter watching the chef make the sushi. What skill, what flair! Its such an art, cuttin gthe fish up. And he even had all the seafood n tamago displayed before us, glistening with freshness. Yes I MEAN glistening. It was so fresh that I wanted to eat everything.

Ok. Back to the books.
