I went to the above mentioned place on Saturday night for Debbie's Birthday! Happy 21st!
UNFORTUNATELY, the BART was closed and I had to BART there and back. BART = Bay area rapid transit (think of Singapore's MRT but dirtier and less frequent). Well the Bay Bridge that links the East Bay to SF was closed for repairs from 1am-6am. Hence the lack of vehicle transport. It took us an hour to get there and back (1 hour each way) as we had to change train half way. Moreover, the train only came at hourly intervals...We barted from Berkeley Downtown to Powell Station. Then we cabbed from the BART to the club. Man...you really need a car in California. The walk back from the BART to home wasn't fun..I'm female..I wear heels to a club. Thanks Gemmy! For walking Judy and I back!
The Bar was ok..it was pretty white. I think we were the only Asians there. I mean I know race shouldnt matter, but hey we LOOK different..who can't help notice? A little dancing..not much...I finally tried Buttery Nipple! (A shot that Charlene likes a lot..woman in France are you reading this) and it was pretty good. Yeah..though I only had 2 shots..I Was a little outta it when I went back home. I think it was the lousy combination of tiredness and alcohol....
Overall, the bar wasn't a great dancing place..but I think its a good social place...If you just wanna have drinks and check out people. Its too noisy to talk..The rowdy sorta bar you know? Rowdy but classy.
Did I mention they were playing Bring it On on a large screen?
