Dream Men

We all have our dream guys..thats mine BTW. The ideal other. We come up with a list of things he has got to be: smart, kind, loyal...humourous..so generic.
Then we look at our BFs or the guy we date and we wonder. What happened there?

I have a theory that we create the type of guy we want through maps formed by interactions with our parents. Esp our dads. Well, that or movie stars. Of course there are various other factors but I believe that the foundation is the father figure. Dad, step dad (in my case), uncle, long lost brother...u name it.

Then of course comes the hard part. Finding the match. But the thing is..people aren't built on a list of qualities. Its like a web of things..that can't be listed. And not only that...we forgot to list the bad points we want to. Cos not everyone is perfect right?
