Singapura

With 2.5 weeks left in Singapore, I decided to take stock. Geographically of course =)Yes, that explains the big Singapore map you see there, bright green and blue with streaks of red. how artistic.

I have spent most of my time here in the northeast, central and east areas. haven't really been going to the west, far east and far north (no not malaysia, woodlands!). Granted I did go to the Choa Chu Kang area twice, but only for awhile. And I'll be going to Changi this weekend to I can go to ubin so I guess that part is ok. Woodlands..whats there?

But I guess looking at this map kinda made me realize how although I have been back for 2 months already, I still haven't really explored Singapore. I mean I do know the near west a bit cos I used to go to school there, but not the FAR west. ie Chinese Gardens and Boon Lay. as you can see, I take train a lot.
I suppose everyone does have their geographical confines and limits due to their daily activities. I think I need to explore more. Although I still do have a fascination with Chinatown...wanna go to Little India and Arab street too but I think that one can only sometimes.....

And while we are on the topic of space, there will be a new youth space in orchard (next to cine) by 2008. Right now, SCAPE needs your ideas as to what to fill the space with and what to call it.
