Going throught my pics (1)

I was going through some of my old pics....yah..I had a digital camera then...They were what, about 4 years ago? And I had short hair then...(sick of my old hair)
I came across some pics that brought back memories. And I decided to take a trip down memory lane. These pics are in my Singapore desk top. Don't have them in laptop. I decided to put them here so that I could look at them next time..

This one is a softball pic. It was a SRC tournament and we were kinda like underdogs cos we didnt have most of the old team with us. Some had gone to the JC near the canal. haha. SRC was always fun, it was a whole weekend of softball, food, urban environment, checking out other teams....=) It was held at the padang you see. So it was an urban thing with great shopping facilities nearby. Food too. Of course we were always too smelly and tired to really shop.
Softball was really fun..it taught me that everyone has a role in the team...sometimes you cover other people so that when they make mistakes, you can patch up for them. You also need communication so that you don't bang into each other when there is a flyball between you. And its about not letting your team mate down, being there to catch her fast throw to one. Or even simply cheering her on when it was her turn to bat and she was facing Felicia Chin with her super fast pitch.
It was about the tough training under the sun..and all the way to evening when you couldn't really see the ball and just hoped it wouldn't hit you. It was about joking that your glove stank to high heaven (which it did btw). It was about hitting that first home run..which I never did..but yah..watching other pple do it in my case. It was about being part of a team. A team that lost and won and cried and cheered. A team with different personalities and the same aim.

I think I need to organize a reunion.
