Well, of course not me being jealous but my bf.
So. I saw a cute guy at Dhoby Ghaut MRT, you know the kind you wish you had as a bf? (assuming you didn't already find mr perfect and you didn't care abt the cute dude's character haha). Well, I kept going on about it just to irk JJ.
And of course he wasn't happy.
Then I asked him," are you jealous cos you feel it or cos your brain tells you that you are suppose to be?"
Reponse: "dunno"
So. Jealousy- a social construct or a real emotion? you tell me

i guess what i meant by social construct would be more like society "telling" us that if our gf/bf someone else was cute...the "normal" reaction is jealousy
