So I'm thinking of doing a thesis for Geography.
And heres my strand of thought:
Singapore's Chinatown is a Chinatown in a country with majority Chinese. Now how weird is that? China, HK and Taiwan do not have China Towns. Whats wrong with us man? (well a little dramatic but u get it)

singapore is not the same as HK or china or taiwan wat.. cos we're supposedly more multi-cultural, yes? so then in that context it would make sense to have a chinatown. also, i tink sg is more westernized lah. so if everywhere in general doesnt really look like chinatown, then maybe u do need an area called chinatown. heh. also got historical significance one!!
