There was a Forever 21 there and my goodness, it was a mess. It also felt like it was permanantly on sale. My friends here are crazy over the stuff there and while I do agree the prices are cheap, the material is something else altogether. When I touched the skirts and the shirts, the material felt like something I would get at Bugis Village for SDG18 or USD12. Or even less. Really. But I guess if you are the kind of person who likes to shop frequently ie Buy a LOT, Pay a Little, then this is the place for you. I must say that the tops look really interesting although I do wish they had more things with sleeves. The accessories are also really cheap. Cheaper than Claires and they look as good. Check it out!
We went to Bebe too. I Stress WENT because I walked in, drooled and walked out.
I am trying to follow the mantra of buy less pay more. To be precise, buy less clothes but buy branded and better quality ones. ITs hard. I wish I had more money. Or that I wasn't a miserly student.

The wallets and bags at Kenneth Cole were gorgeous. Theres this really nice USD80 wallet (blue wallet above). And also a nice slim USD50 one (its the white one). Ouch. I also saw a really nice one at Fossil for USD30. It was colorful and also made of leather. Contemplated getting one for my sister. Her birthday is coming up soon. I didn't get it though. Waiting for the stuff to go to the outlets at Gilroy. Ha.
We also checked out the new I Pod Mini ($199 but students get a discount at $179. you can also get it at $179 on Amazon) in the Apple store. Its cheaper here than in Singapore so if anyone wants be to get it for them and bring it back home...let me know! The functions are mostly the same as the old Mini, nothing different. Apparently Apple has finally standardized its colors of the Mini. My goodness, the colors were GLARING. Pink, Blue, Gree, it was IN YOUR FACE. I strongly suggest that you check out the colors for yourself before you order one online. See it for yourself. Out of the 4 colors, the silver was my favorite. Need you ask why.
